My line of Morrison's have been in Iredell since about 1751. I am a descendent of "Buffalo Shoals" James Morrison who married the daughter (Mary) of Pioneer James Morrison. he has that "Col." Thomas, his son, "Devil Tom" and families are buried near New Sterling ARP Church in a private, family cemetery....in 1871....so for sure my line since that is definate. Will share info...The Morrison's are definitely a hard line to follow.....ask the Iredell County Genealogical Society... Good luck and enjoy your search....it will baffle and amuse you.
